MOUNT KASIGAU

Kasigau hills are located in Taita-Taveta County is part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. It is sandwiched between Tsavo West and East National Parks. Kasigau rises about 1600m above the Taru Desert, with savannah plains below giving way to its high montane forest.

Hikemaniak wishes to host you for a weekend in this magical place in the Kenyan Coast for one night and two days.Mt Kasigau is the primary source of water for the five villages surrounding it.The main route to the top is an esy scramble.There are routes from each of the villages leading to the top alomg the water catchment pipes.They offer varying difficulty an reggedness.
